Little Eva is still very small, but she is already forced to fight for her life. She was admitted to the hospital with severe brain damage – non-traumatic intracranial hemorrhage. This means that a sudden hemorrhage occurred inside her head, disrupting normal brain function and causing a dangerous accumulation of fluid.
As a result, Eva developed occlusive hydrocephalus, a condition in which fluid cannot drain normally and begins to put pressure on the brain. Without intervention, this pressure can lead to severe damage, developmental delays, or even life-threatening conditions.
Doctors have already taken the first steps to stabilize the child's condition, but further treatment requires neurosurgical intervention using special systems and consumables. These help to drain excess fluid and protect the brain from further damage.
Every day of waiting is a risk. At this age, a child's brain is extremely vulnerable, and any delay can have irreversible consequences. That is why Eva's support from caring people is so important right now.
This project is about a chance. A chance for a little girl to live without pain, to develop, to hear her mother's voice, to take her first steps. By supporting Eva today, you become part of her future. Together, we can stop the disease and give this child a chance at life.
