Sofia has chronic bilateral cochleitis and severe sensorineural hearing loss. Her hearing aids are already worn out, and a year ago, due to puberty, her hearing declined by another 20%.

Sofia is a talented artist, studies English, loves to dance, and wins prizes with her dance troupe. These new devices are Sofia’s chance to avoid being left in complete silence and to preserve everything that fills her life.

Sofia is from Pokrovka in the Synelnykivsky District. Due to shelling, her family had to leave their home. Now they face yet another challenge—raising the funds so that Sofia can hear.
