Let’s help Vlad move confidently toward his dream

In November 2025, the project "Let’s help Vlad move confidently toward his dream" was launched on the dobro.ua platform. The goal of the fundraiser was to purchase hearing aids for Vladyslav Mykhailenko, who is diagnosed with bilateral Grade III sensorineural hearing loss. The total target amount was 107,100 UAH. The fundraiser was completed in February 2026, and after payment was processed, Vlad received modern hearing aids on March 11, which specialists tuned to his individual needs.

Despite his severe hearing loss, the boy successfully attends a regular school; however, the war created a new obstacle. Due to the difficult acoustics in bomb shelters, his old hearing aids could no longer cope. In the noise of underground shelters, sounds would blur together, causing him pain and isolation. These new, powerful devices are the only way for Vlad to continue his education, feel safe on the streets, and confidently pursue his goals.
