Artem does not know what a healthy life is. At birth, as a result of a medical error, the child was starved of oxygen. At the age of 1, the boy was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and tetraparesis. From that moment, a difficult life began for both the baby and his mother and father. Constant medical treatment, rehabilitation, painful procedures, surgeries on legs and eyes. Every 2 months, the parents paid for treatment courses themselves, and treatment gave very positive results. There was a hope that the child would soon start walking independently.

But in 2014, the war started and the family was forced to leave their native city of Horlivka, Donetsk region. The family was left with nothing. They had to start their life from scratch. It is very difficult, especially with a child who has a disability. Parents divorced.

Now Artem lives with his mother in Cherkasy. By 2022, with the help of dobro.ua donors, the boy underwent timely rehabilitation throughout Ukraine, learned new skills, and fought the disease. But after February 24, 2022, everything has changed. Artem was without rehabilitation for a whole terrible year. He exercised at home, but it was not enough. The child grew up and grew. Muscle tone became extremely high, deformations began in the bones and joints. The boy is in need of high-quality rehabilitation and mother is unable to pay the bills on her own. Please help Artem to get treatment.
