Help the child to overcome loneliness!
Iryna's long-held predictions about her infertility did not come true. The news that she was about to become a mother sounded like a miracle, but what happened next was a real tragedy. Difficult labor (a waterless period of 10 hours) led to fetal hypoxia, and the dislocation of the first vertebrae pinched the nerves and blood vessels that go to the child's brain. This birth resulted in numerous diagnoses for Andriy. From the first days of his life, he suffered from unbearable pain, could not sleep and eat normally. He did not develop like other children, did not understand simple things. He was a boy who sat and looked at one point, did not say a word, who was abandoned by his own father, and his mother was repeatedly offered to give him to an orphanage.
But Iryna decided to fight for her son. With the support of caring people, numerous rehabilitations and procedures, medications, and classes with specialists have yielded results. Now Andriy is studying under an inclusive program in the third grade of a secondary school with ordinary children. At first glance, no one would say that he is a child with a disability. He is a boy who wants to be part of the world, but cannot find his way. He imitates the actions of other children, but does not understand what is happening around him. It is difficult for him to even realize when he needs to go to the toilet. Andriy cannot play with others because he does not understand the rules of games and does not know how to express his feelings correctly, especially when he is worried, he just comes up with a set of words. And this leads to pain and frustration. All this does not allow him to live a full life. To find himself in this world, he needs our help more than ever.
Andriy needs constant treatment to ease his pain and support him in his fight for the future. He needs medicines for his blood vessels, normalization of sleep and development. He needs rehabilitation, courses with a psychologist, speech therapist and defectologist so that he can understand the world around him, learn to communicate and interact with other children. In addition, Andriy needs hygiene products. Our foundation makes every effort to provide the child with everything he needs for a year. Andriy's mother is raising him alone, and she can't do it without our joint support. Let's help Andriy understand this world and become a part of it!
