Again, the family of Kiryusha Ivanenko ask your help, dear donors. Kiryusha and his mother Yulia are immigrants from Svetlodarsk, Donetsk region. By the time the baby was born, there had already been frequent shelling of the outskirts and the city itself. There was a complication during childbirth, the baby suffered hypoxia and it had fateful consequences. Severe damage of the nervous system has resulted into such diagnoses as cerebral palsy, tetraparesis, autism and psycho-speech delay. The mother, rescuing the child from the war, was forced to flee the war zone and become a settler in the new city with a sick child. However, she did not give up and decided to struggle for her son.

Now, when the kid is 7.5 years old, he does not speak, badly understands speech addressed to him, can’t serve himself, does not play with toys, can’t use steps on his own, run or jump Thanks to the help of caring people, Kirill has sustained 7 rehabilitation courses at Koziavkin Clinic of Truskavets City. He also undertakes bioacoustical correction courses and TOMATIS therapy at “Leprekon+” center. Thanks for this the child’s movement coordination has improved, he shows interest to the surrounding people, started to pay attention to words and actions of other children and adults, became friendly, takes part in music classes and dances in a round. The treatment has good results.

And Kiryusha shouldn’t stop treatment, interrupting rehabilitation means taking a step back. Neurologists recommend regular, systematic classes with specialists in neuro correction, sensory integration, ABA therapy, Montessori education, speech therapists. Funds are needed for the next rehabilitation course at the Leprechaun+ center is of a big amount, which Kiryusha and his mother don’t have. Mom is divorced and is raising her son alone, caring for a child with a disability and simply not being able to pay for the permanent rehabilitation that her son needs in life!
