When the mother first saw her newborn son, the first thing she thought about was the baby's future name: "This is my Sasha, in the future Oleksandr, the winner". The boy was born prematurely at the 31st week of pregnancy, but, fortunately, immediately screamed and began to breathe on his own.

The next day, the boy was transferred to the neonatal pathology department, where he underwent treatment and gained weight. A month and a half later, doctors diagnosed Sasha with grade 3 retinopathy, and the boy was losing his eyesight. In order to stop the retinal detachment process, Sasha urgently underwent 2 operations: first on his right eye, and later on his left. However, this did not end there...

In one year, Sasha was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, level 4 spastic tetraparesis, visual impairment and mental retardation. During his five years, this boy has visited many hospitals and rehabilitation centers. Constant visits to rehabilitators and home classes bring positive results. This family is not afraid of difficulties, but the lack of finances does not allow treating Sasha on their own.

Therefore, we are starting to raise funds for the little winner – Sasha Demchenko – and we ask you to support him and help him get on the rehabilitation course he needs so much.
