Vania lived a normal life, made plans for the future, but one day everything changed. In 2017, he was diagnosed with melanoma, skin cancer. The boy had several operations, a year of immunotherapy, three courses of chemotherapy and two courses of photodynamic therapy. The tests were good and he had a hope to get better. But in February 2020, he suddenly begun to feel nagging pain in his leg, then he had a convulsive attack, after which he remembered nothing, then another attack and another...  

After the medical examination, he heard the scary words: metastasis in the brain. On April 7, 2020, space-occupying lesion was removed in an urgent order.

Vania is a cheerful and kind guy, he graduated from nautical school, had a chance to make just a couple of sails. In 2017, in the middle of a six-month contract, he accidentally removed a mole, but decided not to give it serious attention and work for remaining three months. Returning home, he noticed that something was wrong with the mole, and his mother and sister insisted on checking it. Then he was diagnosed with melanoma, which Vanya has been struggling with for 3 years. After the operation to remove the brain tumor in April this year, metastatic lesions were also found in the lungs, ischial bone, and spine.

Expensive treatment with Cotellic and Zelboraf is necessary. When used together, these drugs stop the growth of cancerous cells. For the course of treatment in Spizhenka clinic, it is necessary to pay UAH 434,320. Vania has only mother, his dad died a few years ago. For three years, all the family's savings have been spent and no funds were available elsewhere for treatment.
