A few years ago, Anzhela lost her young son Denys, the meaning and love of her life. It was an irreparable loss from which she could not recover for a long time. However, over time, her heart was filled with the dream of adopting a child and giving him her unspent love. Nothing seemed to portend trouble. A slight headache was the only symptom of the disease that had been developing unnoticed in the woman's body for 6 years. When the pain became more intense in August 2024, she was scheduled for an MRI scan and a biopsy. The result was stunning – cancer of the maxillary sinus, squamous cell carcinoma, stage 4. It was a new terrible blow that left the ground shaking.

Magnetic resonance imaging revealed a malignant tumor that had spread to the orbit of the eye, nasal cavity and cells of the lattice maze, causing severe pain. To alleviate her suffering, she has to take painkillers every 3-4 hours, which costs her more than 800 hryvnias a day. The family sold everything they had and now cannot provide Anzhela with the necessary medicines. As of today, Anzhela has already undergone 6 courses of chemotherapy, her hair has fallen out, her eyesight has deteriorated, and her face has been deformed. But there are positive aspects. The tumor does not grow into the brain structures, they are not displaced or deformed, and normal circulation of cerebrospinal fluid is determined. According to statistics, tumors of the maxillary sinus respond well to treatment, in particular, at stages 3-4, the survival rate is 30-50%.

The state provides drugs for chemotherapy, but painkillers need to be purchased on their own, but the family does not have the funds for them. Our foundation is making efforts to purchase analgesics for the next six months. Anzhela is struggling with the biggest challenge of her life, and right now she needs our help. She does not have enough money for the necessary painkillers, which are the only way to relieve her suffering.
