Five hours crawling from death - to life.Medical orderly Artem Kovalenko was wounded in December 2014 in the Donetsk airport. He does not call himself a cyborg - he came to the airport to replace his colleague. But it so happened that on that December night, he, in fact, was born for the second time - with another Ukrainian soldier five o'clock they were crawling on the snow-covered runway under fire from mortars, grenade launchers and snipers. Crawled to lifet.

They both survived, only one, the Jenya Zakalyuzhnyu, had to amputate two toes, and Artem caught a bullet in the leg, and a lot of debris in the knee, which is extremely sore today.
In fact, other than a miracle the whole story of their arrival at the airport, the injured and rescue can not be called.

On the night of 6 to 7 December a group of our military left the Piski on two light armored vehicles. When got to the point in front of the runway, which was called "Tsunami", they covered  by the separatists fire . All eight paratroopers in Artem's car , including he, were injured.

The car stopped on the runway in front of the old terminal. And then he went - the driver was wounded in the chest, and smote thigh. And Artem and Zhenya stayed on runway ...
It was 200-250 meters to our terminal. Under almost incessant enemy fire wounded guys crawled to his total of five of hours ...
Then all the wounded were loaded into a car and taken to the Sands.

Artemy then said: "You're not wearing a shirt, you're in the enclosure was born!" Survival was unreal, and what happened - it's an incredible coincidence.

The hospital Artemy reached on the third day. Naturally, pricked antibiotics, all you have to do. Discharged from the hospital, was rehabilitation. Gunshot wound healed quickly, without complications, but the swollen knee bothering to this day. The main problem - fragments: incredibly sore knee and bends. On X-ray the injured knee Artemije clearly visible these fragments. A below the knee are clusters of nerves and arteries. And the fact that the branching arteries are not hooked - is also a miracle.
