Help save lives on the frontline

We are launching an important fundraising campaign to equip medical evacuation vehicles with tablets necessary for operating portable ultrasound (US) devices. These mobile diagnostic units save the lives of both soldiers and civilians affected by russian aggression in the Donetsk region.

The medical team of the Kastus Kalynouskyi Regiment provides emergency care daily under extremely difficult conditions – in areas where hospitals have been destroyed or are no longer functioning. These medevac vehicles serve as mobile clinics. With the help of modern tablets connected to portable ultrasound devices, medics can quickly examine the chest, abdominal organs, musculoskeletal system, as well as perform urological and gynecological assessments.

To ensure the effective operation of Butterfly-type US devices, we need to purchase two tablets. New-generation US devices like the Butterfly iQ connect to tablets via a dedicated app. The tablet serves as the screen that displays real-time images from the ultrasound probe, allowing the medical team to detect internal bleeding, trauma, and other life-threatening injuries. Without a tablet, the device simply does not work. Currently, the medics have three ultrasound units, but due to lack of compatible tablets, only one is operational.

The Kalynouskyi Regiment is a military formation within the Armed Forces of Ukraine, created by Belarusian volunteers in 2022.
