Dear donors! In the Nikolov family, it has been happening two misfortunes simultaneous. Sasha is the son of Irina, he is her adult special child with disabilities, on 20.12.2018 got into intensive care with swelling of the brain. And the day before (19.12.18) for Irina’s husband Igor made a terrible diagnosis: a malignant tumor of the mediastinal. A woman in despair. All her life she has been fighting for the life of her son and now she needs to save both – her son and husband.

Dear donors! In the Nikolov family, it has been happening two misfortunes simultaneous. Sasha is the son of Irina, he is her adult special child with disabilities, on 20.12.2018 got into intensive care with swelling of the brain. And the day before (19.12.18) for Irina’s husband Igor made a terrible diagnosis: a malignant tumor of the mediastinal. A woman in despair. All her life she has been fighting for the life of her son and now she needs to save both – her son and husband.

Even before Nikolovy family found out about Igor's diagnosis, the family supported and treated his son Sasha as best she could. He underwent 4 brain shunting operations. The boy went to kindergarten, then to a specialized school, was a very diligent student, he loved mathematics and always sang well. But then his condition began to deteriorate. And at the end of last year, the guy went into convulsions, he lost consciousness, fell and was very badly injured. Sasha's condition was stabilized, but he stopped walking. He began to have profound brain changes, and, unfortunately, on March 22, 2019, the boy died.

Igor's illness – an extragonadal seminoma of the anterior mediastinum – finally crippled the family. On January 10, 2019, Igor was operated on, then he underwent the first chemotherapy block. Of the drugs required for treatment, there was only one in the oncologic dispensary. The rest of the family needed to buy their own drugs. There was almost no money, they sold what they could sell. The first course of treatment cost them 40 000 UAH. But now they are at a dead end. Igor needs to undergo the next course of chemotherapy, funds for which, unfortunately, the family does not have. The family is simply desperate... They really need your help! Help!
