She already had to run around with noisy apartment, plaiting pigtails dolls and witty, distorting words, telling poems. However, for 4-year-old Sofia Bardas from Berdiansk, this is unattainable. All the strength of this little girl takes the fight with a terrible disease - infantile cerebral palsy. His Sophia received at birth. It was the day of birth that became the most terrible day of her life.

With the first attempts, something begins, from which the frost comes with skin: Sofia gets stuck in her mother's pelvis. Critical bleeding, a woman dies right on the operating table, after a while the doctors resort to Caesarean section and literally pull the girl from the lifeless body, twisting her neck. In addition – prolonged oxygen starvation. Later it will be found out: Sofia has the frontal part of the brain is affected. It is she who is responsible for intelligence, development and giving signals to the limbs. Therefore, the girl can not control her own body. Her arms and legs erect from tension, she will not be able even to squeeze her fingers into a fist. And only her Aunt Victoria will remain with her, she will take the girl to her and swear to take care of her.

Since then, their life is a painstaking work for every sound and movement of Sofia. Massages, exercise therapy, rehabilitation, and hippotherapy: it seems there is no method that has not yet been applied to the girl. And they give the result. Sofia learned to turn over on her side, with the support she already knows how to sit, understands when Mom Victoria offers her to eat it.

Now Sofia needs to go to the next rehabilitation course in the Free movement center. Massages, exercises on the simulators and in the pool, light therapy, hydromassage baths, paraffin and mud applications are all available to the girl. And for another two weeks to deal with her psychologist. Such rehabilitation will help relieve tension in the muscles, give a chance to learn to sit on their own and finally hold a spoon in their hands. This is the relief that Mom Victoria is so eager for. However, the cost of rehabilitation – 12 900 UAH – for a woman who, although it is torn between two works, is beyond repair. After all, such rehabilitation Sofia needs four times each year. And Victoria believes that people will not pass by her request and that her sick daughter will be able to escape from the grip of the disease.

"I know for sure: we cannot stay away because if we do not do massages and do not undergo rehabilitation, it will only get worse. Muscles become stiff, and then it becomes very painful for her. This pain should be deprived of my Sofia".
