Sofia loves going to the theater. And she loves the sea and the swimming pool - you can't get her out of the water!

The girl enjoys the sun, walking along the street and smelling flowers. Very soon she and her mom will go to the sea for rehabilitation. Sonia also misses her father, who died last year.

Sofia has partial atrophy of the optic nerves, but due to the lack of speech (she communicates with gestures), it is impossible to check her visual acuity.

In 2018, a psychiatrist diagnosed Sonia with atypical autism. At the same time, she underwent an electromyography, which showed a decrease in the force of contraction of the muscles of the feet and fingers.

To find the cause of this condition, the family consulted the Kharkiv Specialized Medical and Genetic Center. Sofia was diagnosed with a number of metabolic disorders.

Sonia shows auto-aggression, has started to tear her hair again, laughs and exclaims loudly, and can hit passers-by. Doctors suspect that the girl has a genetic disease, possibly Angelman syndrome. Irina really wants to understand what is happening to her daughter and how to help her. To do this, Sofia needs to undergo an in-depth genetic examination at the Vitalab laboratory in Dnipro.
