Sofia is currently ill. It is becoming increasingly difficult for her to walk – her scoliosis is progressing, and unfortunately, the corset is not helping. Swimming lessons are not possible at the moment: it is cold, and there are often power cuts.

Sofia spends most of her time at home. Her mother tries to draw with her and teach her the alphabet, but it is not easy.

Sofia has atypical autism and motor disorders. To find the cause of her developmental delay, lack of speech, and spontaneous muscle contractions (twitching), it is extremely important for her to undergo an examination.

Doctors suspect a genetic disorder, possibly Angelman syndrome. The Vitalab laboratory in Dnipro will conduct an in-depth genetic examination of the child.

The funds will be used to pay for advanced genetic tests that can detect rare mutations.

Last year, Sofiika lost her father. Her mother, Iryna, was left alone, and without our support, they will not be able to cope.
