Help Veronika speak her future!

Veronika was born with severe intrauterine damage to her central nervous system. At the age of one, she was diagnosed with cerebral palsy (spastic tetraparesis). Since then, her fight for a normal life has begun. Regular training, massages, and physical exercises have become a part of her daily routine.

At the age of one, Veronika started treatment at the "Institute of Pain Problems" clinic. The first significant improvements appeared after the second course of therapy: Veronika learned to sit, and by the age of two, she took her first steps. The rehabilitation programs at the clinic, including metameric massages, stimulation of the articulation apparatus, and structured home exercises, have yielded positive results. Now, she can walk independently, mold figures out of clay, and even partially take care of herself.

However, challenges remain. Veronika cannot speak or express her thoughts verbally, relying solely on sounds and gestures. In her early years, her hands were constantly bent, she couldn’t hold toys, and she showed no interest in her surroundings. Despite progress in treatment, Veronika's knowledge and understanding of the world remain limited, and she cannot fully take care of herself without her mother's assistance.

To maintain her current progress and provide an opportunity for further development, Veronika requires systematic treatment. This is the only way to ensure a better future for her and a chance for greater independence.

Veronika’s mother remains hopeful but finds it increasingly difficult to cover the costs of treatment on her own. She is appealing to kind-hearted people for help. Every contribution matters. Every donation is a step toward giving Veronika a fuller life, where she can continue to make progress and, perhaps one day, express her thoughts in words.
