Help to breathe freely! 2

Diana Noskova never in her life had a chance to make a full breath with her lungs. Each breath takes a great effort from her. Since her birth she has a series genetic disease, cystic fibrosis – hereditary gene mutation, a disease that causes a dysfunction of glands and results in permanent changes in internal organs. Diana struggle for her life with all her strength, since prognosis for this disease is discouraging. Any acute condition is extremely dangerous. Twice a year the girl spends some time in hospital to clear lungs to remove at least a small part of harmful and infectious microorganisms and leave some space for breathing function.  

However cystic fibrosis is not a verdict! Diana understood this when she saw that there people caring for other’s pain, other’s disease. She is very grateful to all caring people having holy hearts for their help and compassion. Diana now has a motivation and targets in her life, her hearts burns now. She graduated from school and entered College of Economics. She clearly sees her future! She started to make a little extra money to feel a productive person and not a physically handicapped person. And, like Diana says, that was at least some material help to her family, since all medicines prescribed for her treatment are very expensive.

However, now the girl's condition has deteriorated greatly, on her x-rays "there are practically no lungs", they are completely clogged with sputum. It is very difficult for her to breathe. From lack of oxygen, fingers and nails were deformed, a serious cardiac pathology (cor pulmonale) appeared, and now every exacerbation of the disease is extremely dangerous.

Cystic fibrosis can’t be cured, but the course of the disease can be eased and thus, the life can be prolonged. Doctors have developed and selected a supportive therapy that consists of expensive medicines. The family can’t afford them. Diana does not give way to despair because she believes in your support. She does her best to help herself and her family, understands and supports all who got into the same hard life situation, always supports and demonstrates compassion. She never complains, instead she says that there are much more serious diseases.
