Help provide the hospital in the East!

The hospital we want to help is on the front lines of hostilities. For security reasons, we cannot provide the full name of this medical facility. Before the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, 200,000 people lived on the territory of the city. Currently, approximately 70,000 residents remain in the city, including 20,000 women and 4,000 children under the age of 18.

The facility provides medical assistance to the civilian population, children, and military personnel. Up to 25,000 people receive help in this hospital per month, of which at least 500 need treatment on physiotherapy equipment. But due to the lack of many medical facilities and types of medical care in the region, the hospital needs the following medical equipment and consumables:

Bilirubinometer. This device is intended for dynamic clinical examination of newborns when determining the degree of hyperbilirubinemia in newborns by measuring the level of bilirubin by a non-invasive transcutaneous method, it is used for initial screening and monitoring of bilirubin values in the treatment of jaundice, which enables detailed observation of the dynamics of jaundice and the effectiveness of the therapy.

Ultrasonic therapy device. The device is intended for treatment and prevention of diseases of internal organs, musculoskeletal and nervous system, genitourinary system, eyes, oral cavity, trophic ulcers, massage of the skin and muscle system.

Apparatus for galvanization and electrophoresis. The device affects the human body or a specific area of electric impulses for a certain time, which provide a local therapeutic effect. The electrophoresis procedure has a number of advantages compared to other types of treatment: the dose of medication administered is small, but it is sufficiently effective and penetrates directly into the diseased part of the body (suitable for children); a large concentration of the drug is created at the desired point, but at the same time it does not spread throughout the body, does not enter the lymph and bloodstream. medicines do not disintegrate and retain all their useful properties. It is used in the treatment of disorders of the heart and blood vessels; atherosclerosis; couperosis; burn lesions of the skin; vascular and bone diseases; inflammatory processes in the genitourinary system; with pronounced painful sensations; diseases of the digestive tract (ulcer lesions, cholecystitis, gastritis, etc.); and many others.

In the hospital, these devices are old and have long been in need of replacement.

A defibrillator is also critically needed, because the available quantity is not enough, and hospitals in such a region must be fully supplied.

A separate point is the need for consumables, such as containers for collecting and disposing of used syringes, needles and sharp objects, bags for medical waste.

Today, one of the main goals of the foundation is to provide hospitals in the frontline regions, so that people have the opportunity to receive high-quality and comprehensive medical care.
