Undergoing rehabilitation

The goal of the project was to raise funds for Solomiya Fokina, as she has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy, spastic diplegia, GMFCS Level III, MACS Level II, cognitive impairment, and Level II–III speech underdevelopment. She also has dysarthria and requires rehabilitation at the International Center for Rehabilitation and Neurophysiology, LLC.

Thanks to the platform of the Charitable Organization International Charitable Foundation “UBB” (dobro.ua) and donors, the necessary amount of 25,000.00 UAH was raised, the foundation paid for Solomiya’s rehabilitation, and she successfully completed her rehabilitation at the International Center for Rehabilitation and Neurophysiology LLC from May 18, 2026, to June 4, 2026. During the fundraising campaign for the project, there was a change in the clinic; the rehabilitation course was originally planned to take place at the “Step by Step Toward the Goal” Rehabilitation Center, but in March 2026, the beneficiary’s legal representative contacted us with a request to change the clinic to “International Center for Rehabilitation and Neurophysiology” LLC; these changes were communicated in a letter dated March 31, 2026, No. 179.

Based on the results of the rehabilitation course, the center’s specialists noted positive progress in the child’s development. There was an increase in the range of motion of her lower limbs in water, her mobility skills with support improved, and she is now able to take 1–2 steps independently without support. The goals regarding the correction of scoliosis and standing with a single cane without support have been partially achieved. Additionally, the speech therapy goal—performing logomassage—has been fully achieved.
