Families always impatiently expect their newborns while understanding that their lives will dramatically change. However, no one is prepared to say goodbye to their little miracle forever already in a year, a month or even in an hour. To prevent such tragedy, doctors are coming for help. Together with parents, they constantly struggle for children’s lives.

Unfortunately, they do not have superpowers, and they do not stand a chance to save a kid’s life without high-quality medical equipment.
Therefore, they need our help.

The Scientific-Practical Center of Children’s Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery lacks endoscopic equipment. Just imagine the situation, when a little newborn child has his or her chest opened in order to receive heart treatment! Such surgical intervention causes irreversible damage to their health. And with the help of modern technologies doctors are able to perform heart surgeries through small openings (5-6 mm). It facilitates surgery and improves recovery.

Pervomaisk Hospital needs a new artificial lungs ventilation device. It is the only hospital within many kilometers in the Mykolaiv region, which is able to help kids with cardiac diseases. The equivalent device, purchased by the state many years ago, regularly fails due to its age. It cannot be repaired since its factory has been long closed and it is not possible to find spare parts.
