Touch of care: purchase of anti-bedsore products

Each of us deserves to live free of pain. Our clients, palliative care patients, face daily challenges that increase their suffering. "Caritas-Nadvirna" joins forces to provide them with the support they need and to alleviate their pain.

These are the most vulnerable members of society who are at risk of developing pressure ulcers due to prolonged stay in the same position. They experience pain and helplessness every day, needing not just help, but sincere care and special attention to reduce their suffering. Pressure ulcers are not a sentence, but a problem that can be solved.

The use of special anti-decubitus products can significantly reduce discomfort, prevent complications and improve the quality of life of these people. Unfortunately, due to limited resources, we cannot provide our wards with everything they need.

Now we are raising funds for anti-decubitus products: mattresses, pillows, hydrogel dressings, sets of plasters and creams. These are not just things, but a chance for a decent life for our wards. It is an opportunity to reduce their pain and give them at least a little comfort.
