Cerebral palsy is not a sentence for Maryika

During this rehabilitation course, which lasted from October 28, 2024 to November 08, 2024, Mariyka underwent a course of therapeutic massage and heat therapy, therapeutic physical education, classes with a correctional psychologist, a speech therapist, ergotherapy and sensory integration. Therapeutic massage, heat therapy and special exercise therapy exercises helped relax tense muscles, improved blood circulation and lymph flow, which helped reduce spasticity and prevent the development or progression of contractures in the joints. Classes with a correctional psychologist and elements of ergotherapy are aimed at improving attention, memory, thinking, problem solving and other cognitive processes.
