Much needed miracle

Vitaliy and Valentyna couldn’t have children for 19 years and they adopted 8-years old baby, Vitalik. When he was 11 years old, he was diagnosed with blood cancer. And, bone marrow transplantation is urgently needed. We have no idea how much time we have to save the boy’s life. However, there is a chance: clinic of Italy is ready to take a boy – for 116.500 thousand Euros. Vitalik’s mother is on retirement benefit and his father is disabled. Both now is in the hospital and they have nothing to sale and nobody to lend money for son’s treatment.

Each case in the children onco-hematology department is tragic. But there are stories that everyone couldn’t be remain different, affecting shallow-hearted souls. Valentyna, Vitaliy and their son, Vitalik, live in Ivanivka village Kyiv region. The couple had no children for 19 years. And, the family decided if the destiny didn’t give them own child, they gave happiness to another one, an abandoned baby. And the couple adopted eight-months Vitalik. The life became useless. Every day was full of joy, happiness and carring. Vladik became hardworking, obedient and calm boy.

But, when he was 11 years old, he tired quickly, sometimes it was nose bleeding. After examinations acute lymphoblastic leukemia was found. The treatment was started but Vitalik wasn't logged in remission at the proper time for protocol of treatment so he needs a bone marrow transplant. There's no time - the clinic was waiting Vitalik on April 13. Looking at the child’s parents how they love him, understanding that he is a meaning of their life. It’s very scared to imagine what will happen to them if we don’t help them. Without bone marrow transplantation the boy have no prospects to live.

Today, the clinic in Italy is ready to take a boy for treatment, and the invoice for treatment includes the amount 116 500 thousand Euros. The parent has started to raise funds, but frauds have already stolen a part of money from the credit card of Vitalik’s mother! Nevertheless, 90 thousand euros has been already collected thanks to concerned people. And 26 500 Euros or 284 000 UAH remain to be collected.

Vitalik didn’t know that he is adopted till present day. The parents had to tell him about it, because the important thing for them is to save him.
