In Ukraine, every 800th child is born with Down syndrome. And this is about 400 children a year. Over the 15 years of its existence, the Early Development Center of the All-Ukrainian Charitable Organization Down Syndrome remains the only one in Ukraine who works with children on such a large-scale and systemic basis and supports more than 1000 families from all over Ukraine.
Specialists strive to help parents accept their child as easily as possible, live their pain and become a support in the development of the child. In order for children to be able to deal with specialists within 5 months, it is necessary to collect 288 153.96 UAH.
The collected amount will be sent to:
- 230 individual consultations with children and their parents;
- 92 group lessons for children from 0 to 3 years old and their parents with corrective teachers, speech therapists, and a psychologist.
Kurazh Bazar completely closes the fundraising that will go to the help of the center.
