JAMALA/Book Kyrazh Bazaar, SEPTEMBER

The purpose of Literary Courage Bazaar is to raise funds for the publication of books for children and adolescents with visual impairments. These books will be printed in Braille and flat typeface. Jamalа will perform at the Bazaar Literary Courage. Thanks to her support and a large charity concert, we hope to raise funds quickly for the first layouts.

Today, in Ukraine, the state largely satisfies the need for educational literature in Braille, but the issue of fiction remains open. Due to the lack of such books, blind people are deprived of the choice and the ability to read contemporary relevant and interesting literature. And as a result, many of them stop reading altogether, and some even lose their reading skills at school. Instead, in Europe, the situation is different - except for books, Braille text is found at every corner literally: in transitions, on benches, railings and in all places of public use.

We have big plans - we set ourselves the goal of starting to publish 7-10 popular books for children and adolescents in Braille in combination with flat printing. So that all children, with or without diagnosis, can read together. To help eather reading cool books. It is during childhood that the interest in reading is formed, the fantasy develops, the desire for new knowledge and the habit of learning. And all these qualities in adulthood will help to master the profession to the heart, to do your favorite business and to realize yourself in society.

How will we do this? To begin with, we will issue a small print version of Braille in small print. Everyone can use books. And if there are so many people that there are not enough books, we print the right amount. After all, once we have made the layout and prepared the books for printing, we create the opportunity to publish any number of copies.
