Epilepsy is not a sentence!

The child needs help. This is not just a sentence. This sentence hides so much pain and tears, that it is difficult to measure in words... Polina was a very expected child and already much loved beforehand. The parents chose tiny dresses and shoes and dreamed of a fabulous future for their princess. The happiness of the parents lasted not for long. Being three months old, during the walk, the baby suddenly turned blue, fainted and the shipyards began. So Polina get in to intensive care unit for the first time. There a terrible diagnosis was named. 

Just a few weeks after discharge, the baby again got in to intensive care with severe seizures. For three days the child was on the verge of life and death. Parents were allowed to say goodbye to the girl, there was practically no chance to get out. But Polina has survived! Now Polina is 6 years old, throughout her small life she fights with epilepsy. During seizures she loses consciousness, stops breathing, the body shakes so much that child lost her front teeth. Medication therapy only made convulsions happen more often, but reduced their intensity. Now, during epileptic attacks, the girl no longer loses consciousness. In addition to epilepsy, Polina has a delay in development. She does not walk, does not speak, does not fix her eyes and can not live without constant assistance.

But even with the most severe diagnoses, children always remain children. Polina likes to play with music toys and listen to the music, she enjoys viewing bright pictures, reaching out to other children. Gentle, tender, loving little girl. She believes that once the pain will go away, and that she will be able to walk by herself and to hold a spoon during the dinner. Support sincere child's faith, help Polina get to rehabilitation!
