Epilepsy is not a sentence! 2

The elder Polina's sister is 21 years old, and Polina turned 6 this summer. The long-awaited little person. Plans were written in advance. When she would go to the kindergarten when she would start dancing classes. And in 2018, mother planned to take Polina to the first grade and wipe the tears of happiness on the first school day... But in three and a half months on a walk, the baby turned blue and lost consciousness. In intensive care, the first diagnosis was announced: epilepsy. Later it was added: anomaly of brain development, developmental delay. Of course, plans and dreams collapsed at once. 

Since then, Polina constantly struggling with attacks. Sometimes epilepsy attacks are stronger than a child, and Polina stops breathing and loses consciousness. In such attacks, the girl lost her lower teeth.

Polina has bright blue eyes and a mischievous smile. The baby does not speak, but is very contact and gentle. Loves to hug and to hold hands. With the help of her mother, despite not very confident, she walks. Not talking yet. But on the last rehabilitation course, she learned how to say “Yes.” In general, the October course of rehabilitation gave a huge progress in development. Mother shared her joy: “In five days of exercises, the doctors began to put Polina on her legs. And she stood without assistance for a full minute!", to stand on her own, this is a great cause. Mother was inspired by achievements and was cheered up – her girl is not hopeless!

In January the next course of rehabilitation and new successes are waiting for Polina.
