Kyivstar Leaders Forum: helping children with burns

Even before the full-scale invasion began, about 12,000 Ukrainian children received burns every year. After February 24, 2022, this number is growing every day.

As a result of explosions and fires, children suffer burns and have to fight for their lives. They need urgent specialized care, which, unfortunately, cannot be fully received at home. Ukraine is forced to treat its children abroad. But we live here.

That is why within the framework of the Children's Hope program, Kyivstar together with dobro.ua and Unbroken is launching a new direction – helping children with burns. We have set a goal to purchase the latest medical equipment for the burn center in Lviv, where dozens of children with burns, including those affected by the war, are admitted every day.

We are launching a fundraising campaign to buy a DEFIGARD HD-7 defibrillator-monitor manufactured by Shiller Medical, France and other medical equipment.

Each lot purchased helps save children's lives.

The medical equipment will be transferred to the burn unit of the 1st Territorial Medical Association of Lviv (National Rehabilitation Center "Unbroken").
