Gadgets for education for Children of Heroes

Many Ukrainian families were forced to pack their entire "home" into one suitcase and leave their homes to save their lives because of the full-scale Russian invasion. Some people have nowhere to return to because shells destroyed or damaged their homes, and Russian troops still captured some cities.

Life goes on despite even the most terrible circumstances. Children should live in comfortable conditions; develop and receive quality education to get a good potential for the future of our country. 

The current realities of war dictate their conditions. Laptops, smartphones, and tablets have become the primary means for gaining new knowledge and access to information. However, besides significant advantages, they cause additional difficulties that not everyone can cope with. 

Children of Heroes lost one or both parents due to the war in Ukraine. Although we cannot bring back the lives of the people dearest to them, we strive to provide our wards with everything they did not have time to receive from their parents. Therefore, we are raising funds for 30 laptops and 18 tablets, which we will provide to 89 children from 48 families. All these children have lost one of their parents or are orphans, some of them have the status of IDPs (mainly from Donetsk region and Kherson), some have disabilities or grow up in a large family.

For example, a large family from Kherson region shares one laptop between 12 children, as unemployment and inflation do not allow guardians to make expensive purchases. Children cannot study properly, participate in group or individual meetings with a psychologist (which is extremely necessary for most of them), or join art therapy classes or other programs offered by the Children of Heroes Charity Fund because of the need for gadgets.

The charity organization decided to purchase the necessary gadgets and provide them to the neediest families to solve this problem because socialization, education, and development are the basis of a decent life for those without caring parental care.
