In his 16 years, Zhenya has undergone more than 60 blocks of chemotherapy and 7 surgeries due to a brain tumor. He is already sitting more confidently, but not for long, has started chewing, and moves his arms more.

In 2024, Zhenya spent 8 months in different hospitals. On April 29, he had most of the tumor removed. It was impossible to remove it completely because of the risk of vision loss. Soon complications arose: first a cyst, and after its removal - a hemorrhage. Last year, the boy underwent 6 surgeries.

Yevhen is studying in the 9th grade under an individualized program. He knows how to read by syllables, but the paresis of his right hand does not allow him to learn to write. The boy likes to listen to music, watch movies and loves to play with his dog Lucky.

Neurologists strongly recommend that Zhenia keep his body upright for some time every day to prevent joint contractures and improve the functioning of internal organs. In addition, seeing everything around him from an upright position is much more interesting than looking at the ceiling of his room day after day.
