Dignified Life in Old Age

The project ‘Decent Life in Old Age’, organised by Caritas Nadvirna, was posted on the dobro.ua platform of the UBB Charitable Foundation and was successfully implemented thanks to the active support of the community.

The aim of the project was to provide diapers to 30 people who are palliative care patients and are in difficult life circumstances. This initiative was an important step towards ensuring their comfort, dignity, and facilitating their daily care.

Thanks to the dobro.ua platform, we managed to raise UAH 18,000.00 (eighteen thousand hryvnias), which was 100% of the planned amount.  The funds raised were used to purchase 29 sets of hygiene products (adult diapers in sizes s, m, l and absorbent underpants for adults). A financial report is provided on all the funds used.

The aid was delivered to 30 palliative care patients.

Successful fundraising through dobro.ua has confirmed the importance of collective action in solving humanitarian problems. The implementation of this project has become an example that inspires the creation of new similar initiatives.

We are sincerely grateful to everyone who contributed to the fundraising, spread the word or provided other support. Together we are building a world where everyone deserves respect, comfort and support.
