We prepare children for school

Unfortunately, families who find themselves in difficult life circumstances (large families, low-income families, single-parent families, families with children with disabilities) often cannot meet the needs of children – to buy everything they need, including: office supplies, which are extremely necessary to study at school. Children go to school for nine months and all this time they really need educational tools, especially for children from families in crisis.

For 11 years in a row, Caritas has been holding the "School bag" campaign. From year to year, the action does not lose its relevance, because its main goal is to help children from families in difficult life situations and socially dangerous situations to prepare for the school year on an equal basis with their peers: to dress, put on shoes and collect bags with all the necessary school supplies. The action takes place on the eve of September, and this year together with you we helped to collect bags for more than 500 kids. But all the problems of schoolchildren do not end in September – notebooks run out, pens are written off, but we must continue to study. Therefore, we continue to raise funds for stationery and sincerely ask you, dear benefactors, to support our initiative.
