I want to learn to hold a spoon!

As part of the social rehabilitation course, the child received the following services:

Play therapy — 10 classes; sand therapy — 8 classes; sensory classes — 10 classes; art therapy — 10 classes; social training — 6 classes; social adaptation and habilitation — 4 classes; social reintegration — 2 classes; culinary therapy — 5 classes; neurosensory integration — 8 classes.

The classes were aimed at developing motor skills, sensory perception, communication skills, emotional stability and social interaction. All services were provided individually or in small groups, taking into account the characteristics of the child.

Conclusions and recommendations: According to the results of the rehabilitation, the child has: improved fine motor skills (in particular, attempts to hold objects, spoons); increased level of sensory organization; reduced anxiety during communication and game situations; increased independence in performing household actions; positive dynamics in adaptation to new conditions and interaction with the environment.

It is recommended: to continue social rehabilitation after 2–3 months, to attend inclusive groups, to adhere to a gentle exercise regimen, to be under the supervision of specialized specialists at the place of residence.
