I love life and want to live

Vitalik is in the acute phase of the disease at the moment, the course of treatment proved to be ineffective. They attribute it to the poor inhaler and they may be right, since the parameters of the device the boy is currently using are not suitable for such a large number of daily inhalations and for such drugs.

The minimum cost of a high power compressor-type inhaler that can function normally to cover the needs of a CF patient equals 6,000 UAH. Let alone the cost of consumables, such as a nebulizer for the drugs, breathing tubes, filters which should be replaced 2-4 times a year, the cost of each of these replacement sets amounting to nearly 1,500 UAH. Along with other expenditure items required for the treatment, the cost is too high for Vitalik's family. However, the efficiency of his daily treatment is directly related to the type of equipment employed. Until it becomes available, the disease will be progressing and gradually destroying his body.

 "I am 13 years old, I'm in the 8th grade, but I find it quite challenging since I often have to miss classes due to my illness. I'd love to run around and play soccer, but it's difficult for me because I get out of breath. Treatment procedures take quite a lot of time, but they're crucial for me. I love life and I want to live, I need your help," Vitalik writes in a brief letter that he sent us along with photos.

 The boy lives with a serious illness and the duration of his life is contingent on whether he will receive quality treatment now. At the moment, he still has a chance to overcome his shortness of breath and join his friends at the soccer field. He just needs our help.
