I am looking for a way to myself...

We are students of Kharkiv National University Nesterenko Arina and Filenko Oksana. Last year, as part of educational practice, we visited Otradne town, where we met with Alenka. We were very moved by her story and this year we decided to help her. Looking at her it is impossible to believe what difficulties she goes through every day. Autism is not our personal choice. It does not harm others.

"I am Alonka. I spent 5 years in the orphanage and then autism became my "close friend". In 2015, they "found" me, I became part of the family in a family-type orphanage. In my new home, in my new family, I got dad and mom, brothers and sisters – new real friends, but autism does not want to say goodbye to me. I can’t speak well yet, but I can convey my feelings and emotions in my drawings. When I'm nervous, my beloved cat gives me strength and in general, I love everything related to cats.

I am already 9 years old and I went to school. They didn’t want to take me to study for a long time. With the help of my mother and her efforts, I succeeded.
Each of us is in a difficult situation. When you make every effort, but nothing happens, and at this moment you hope for Miracle and Help as never before.
My dream is to become independent: go to a regular school, go to a lesson myself and part with fears. Everything that you do without difficulty is given to me by great efforts".

We want to raise funds so that Alena could take part in the rehabilitation program.
