"I want my leg to become the same as a neighbour boy has. He's so cool football player, and I cannot even walk without a walker and my mother's help, – so childly and adultly at the same time thinks 5-year-old Serhiy, – but I will grow up, receive medical treatment and I'll definitely be like Zidane, my favourite football player". Serhiy has never walked on his own from birth due to the hormonal disorder in his bones. As a result, his one leg is much shorter than the other one, and he can't move independently.

He is a talkative, cheerful boy, but he lives in his own special world, due to the fact that the disease doesn't allow him to live a fulfilled life. Neurofibromatosis, popularly creeping fracture, is a disability from birth, which negates normal baby development. Five operations and a long encasement in a plaster cast deprived the child of any opportunities to walk, run, and go to kindergarten. His momma says that her son's favorite place in the house is on the windowsill. He sits there in the afternoon when the kids come home from school, watches and describes with tears in his eyes what he sees on the street.

His leg bone is not developing and not growing. An artificial bone is installed around the natural one. It should survive and begin to develop and grow. Unfortunately, the bone knitting process has not given positive results, and in this situation, both the parents and the boy live in hope that the next operation will be successful. After encasing in a plaster cast, the kid must be operated again in the Kiev clinic of children's traumatology and orthopedics. As the treatment lasts for more than five years since the child's birth, of course, that means scarcity of funds for treatment.

Therefore, the child's relatives seek help from all the indifferent people: "Please, help our little son to stand on his legs, to feel the joy of running, cycling, playing football." Serhiy believes that it will run in his own. Let's help the little dreamer realize what he strongly desires!
