Imagine for a moment a person with the blood oxygen level of 45%. It's scary even to think of it, especially now, at the time of coronavirus pandemic, when everyone seems to remember that any level below 94% is the cause for concern.

Ania is a young girl who has been battling a rare disease of cystic fibrosis for 28 years of her life. Her badly damaged lungs get clogged with mucus, her body is vulnerable to all kinds of infections, which results in persistent and severe oxygen deprivation.

Unfortunately, the powerful oxygen concentrator which we bought with your help nearly a year and a half ago has stopped working – Ania had been using it all this time and some of its parts have exhausted their service life and need to be replaced. It turned out that it is quite a challenge at the moment – you can't get the parts in question in Ukraine and it's not known when they come back on sale, there is no certainty at the time of the pandemic.  

But Ania can't really wait. A standard unit with 5 L/min capacity raises oxygen saturation only to 70-80%. Not receiving enough oxygen, the girl is short of breath, has headaches, and even the slightest effort makes her easily tired. And Ania loves to do pictures and icons' bead embroidery, to expand her knowledge of psychology, to meet with her friends…

The most feasible and quickest way to help Ania is to order the new unit now while it can still be ordered. Ania's family has long been exhausted by the many years of her treatment, so the girl can only count on our support. We earnestly believe that together we can raise the funds and purchase an oxygen unit that Ania so badly needs.
