On March 9, 2017, Ira gave birth to her first and only son Danichka with a weight of 4 200 kg and 53 cm. Apparently, due to a rather large weight, he was born with cephalhematoma on her head. After 4 days in the hospital, the baby was sent to the hospital to remove the cephalhematoma. His mom was uncomfortable, because after the maternity hospital everyone is met with festive balloons and is happily going home, and she and her husband drove many kilometers, and again 4 walls, again a hospital...

After the first week of stay in the Cherkasy Regional Hospital, Dania safely removed the cephalhematoma from the head. Then there were still examinations, after which they were discharged home. At home, a young family settled down, they became more fun, because there were a lot of children's things and toys. Time passed, and Dani’s mother imagined everything that their little son would hold her head, start crawling, walking, she even began to think what he would do: either boxing or football. But when the boy was 2 months old, his mother noticed that Danya did not hold his head at all, he did not even try.

Then they went to Kiev "OKHMATDET", were examined for a long time, did massage, but there was no result. Then the doctor said to donate blood for a genetic disease: SMA Verdning-Hoffman. The family went and passed the tests, the results expected a long 3 weeks. Dania's mom immediately googled what is it SMA, and she was in despair, because this is a terrible diagnosis, in which children do not live to 2 years, they cannot hold their heads, sit and do everything that healthy children can. A woman prayed every day that the results were negative... But, probably, God did not hear her prayers... The diagnosis was confirmed. Now, mother Ira is not just a mother, but a mother of a child with SMA. Now she needs twice as much strength and patience to get through everything. Now Dana is almost 2 years old, he needs special nutrition, vitamins, amino acids, constant massage a, d rehabilitation.
