If my daughter could hear...

"If my daughter heard, perhaps she would love music, if my daughter heard, perhaps she would love to sing, perhaps she still has many undiscovered talents, not only drawing...", these are the words of mother Sofia, who has  heart breaks for her child.

Sofia has inherited hearing loss. In the first year of life, the girl was diagnosed with bilateral deafness. Sonia developed according to her age, was very active and tried to know everything. A girl perceives the world with her vision (drawings), not like all children. Sofia's talent for drawing is revealed, from the age of 6 she has been attending an art school, has great success and awards. Sonia had good speech development, and now this level has dropped to almost zero due to the fact that Sofia does not have hearing aids.

Previously, Sonia received hearing aids from the state, but they are no longer suitable for use, and now it is impossible to get new ones: long-term queues delay the development of the child. A blind person cannot live without glasses, a non-hearing person cannot live without a hearing aid. Let's help Sofia hear the world, hear her mother's voice, hear her own voice.

Sofiyka lives with her mother and brother in Kherson, Sofiyka’s mother, Zinaida, is hard of hearing, she works in a specialized school for children with hearing impairments in Kherson, where Sofiyka studies. Of course, the teacher's salary is not enough to buy expensive hearing aids for the child, and the family has no one to help them.
