Quality medical care for the military!

The hospital for war veterans in the South of Ukraine needs support in providing medical equipment. Up to 200 people are constantly receiving inpatient treatment here. The institution treats soldiers who were injured during hostilities. Due to the fact that the hospital is close to the front line, patients are brought here almost immediately from the battlefield for urgent stabilization of the condition and provision of the necessary assistance, on which the further health and life of a person depends. Therefore, for security reasons, we cannot indicate the full name of this medical facility.

Today, the hospital is a leading regional specialized medical and preventive institution providing highly qualified consultative, diagnostic and medical and preventive medical care. Treatment, nutrition and examination of patients is provided free of charge and exclusively at the expense of the state budget. A rehabilitation center for war veterans was created on the basis of the institution, where patients can get help from a psychologist, psychiatrist, physiotherapist and other specialists.

Within the framework of this project, we sought to provide the institution with such equipment as a biochemical analyzer, an EKG machine, a medical suction device and a forehead illuminator. However, we did not manage to collect enough to purchase the entire list of equipment, and yet we are able to purchase the necessary medical suction device for use, of which there is not enough in the hospital, most of them are worn out and do not meet the technical requirements. This equipment is intended for suction of air and fluid from wounds and cavities during surgical operations and in the postoperative period.

Due to a lack of funding, the institution is not equipped with all the necessary medical equipment.
