Quality services to people with disabilities

Physical Rehabilitation specialists of The Dzherelo Children’s Rehabilitation Centre in Lviv daily provide rehabilitation services for 150 children and youth with special needs aged to 35 years. Most of them have serious physical disabilities. Children require rehabilitation assistance when changing their position, with transportation, self-servises, physical exercises. This leads to intense load on the back’s muscles and lumbosacral spine on our specialists, which can cause injury.

We value people who have chosen this profession and want them to be safe, so we ask you to help us raise funds for the purchase of 5 lumbar corsets that will provide a safe work environment in rehabilitation center. The Dzherelo Centre operating as a charitable non-profit facility providing all services free of charge.

We ask you to help those, who help children and young people with special needs to get help and rehabilitation. To insure safe work, to reduce cases of injury for physical therapist while helping children and youth with disabilities to get support, communication, reveal their talents, feel their usefulness to society!

For more than 22 years The Dzherelo Children’s Rehabilitation Centre is the embodiment of positive change in the lives of children with special needs and their families. Devoted team of rehabilitators, speech therapists, teachers and psychologists work together to fully develop the potential of children and prepare them for integration into society. But many of them work risking their physical health and they need your help.
