When the young family saw two stripes on the test they were happy: "We will be parents!". But no one even thought that they would have to become parents 2 months ahead of schedule. Fate prepared great challenges, sometimes it seemed that it was excessive. Yan was born at 32 weeks of gestation with a weight of 1,880 grams and 42 cm.

Now the baby is 3 years old. He has already gone through a lot during his short life. First, it was the intensive care unit, then the intensive care unit for newborns, the orthopedics department. And at 6 months, the baby had the first epileptic seizure. And again, the hospitals, examination, various tests had begun. A year ago, doctors allowed the child to go to the rehabilitation centers. In a year 5 courses have already been completed.

However, until now the baby cannot sit on its own and cannot crawl. Parents are not going to give up. In addition to rehabilitation centers, Yan trains at home and undergoes hippotherapy. There is still a lot of work to do. And, unfortunately, the treatment is too expensive. The son’s diagnosis did not break the family, their love only got stronger, but even very strong and loving people sometimes need help. And it is very important to feel timely support to continue to fight the disease with renewed power.

At UBB, we will raise funds for a rehabilitation course for Yan.
