Mother Vera has only one dream, only one goal – to put the child on his feet! Yaroslav was born on New Year's Eve, January 1, 2018, as a healthy child. On the second day, the baby's skin began to acquire a brick-red color, jaundice appeared. Despite the Rh conflict with his mother, the newborn in the maternity hospital was vaccinated against hepatitis without waiting for the analysis for bilirubin. On the 4th day, the child became ill, breathing stopped. An urgent blood transfusion was made. Bilirubin was kept at 430 μmol/L and did not fall. The boy was in a very serious condition, for two days he was between life and death. But Yaroslav proved to everyone that he wants and will live.

Two weeks later, Vera and the baby were transferred to the neonatal pathology department, where the baby was intensively nursed for another 1.5 months. The baby got home only at the age of two months. The doctors promised that the recovery would come, but it will be very slow. No one could imagine that the process would take not a month or two, but would drag on for years.

During his incomplete three years, Yaroslav went through a lot: 11 rehabilitation courses, 5 general massage courses, daily exrcises at home. With each rehabilitation, the boy has new skills, new sounds. Yaroslav now pays attention to people, he began to smile more often, holds his head more confidently, tries to roll over on his own, his back got stronger, began to hold toys. He loves games and communication.

Since March 2020, the child is on a gluten-free and casein-free diet, taking probiotics, many vitamins, proteins for muscle building. All this requires large financial investments. In February, the baby needs to be in the rehabilitation center for the next rehabilitation course, which the mother cannot afford to pay. But treatment should not be skipped, otherwise all the results, which were so hardly achieved will "roll back" back.
