Let it be warm in the children's space in Kharkiv

The Otradne Center for Children and Families has been operating in Kharkiv for 30 years, providing educational, developmental, and integration services to Kharkiv residents and internally displaced persons. The center continues to operate today, even in the face of military operations, power outages, and other challenges that arise daily in the lives of city residents. Even when it's cold outside and there's no heating in residential buildings.

Thanks to the donor’s support, the Otradne Center for Children and Families is visited by nearly 400 children and 50 adults. 13 following groups are open to beneficiaries: drawing for children, drawing for adults, ceramics for children, ceramics for adults, dancing for children, ballroom dancing for adults, chess for children, chess for adults, circus arts for children, hapkido, preparation for school, and technical creativity for children "Aircraft modeling". Today, the Otradne Center is a unique place for the development and communication of Kharkiv residents, given its social component and location – Saltivka.

Despite many years of donor support, the project budget has a large deficit of funds for the salaries of the group leaders and administrative costs for maintaining the center's premises. Given the harsh winter of 2026, there was a deficit under the heating item. Since the creativity center is heated by a solid fuel boiler, there is a constant need for wood, which quickly runs out when it is -25 degrees outside.

Therefore, the fund is forced to open a fundraiser to purchase wood for heating the creativity center, so that children and adults have the opportunity to relax and psychologically unwind in a comfortable environment. The amount of the charity fundraiser is 34,240 UAH. This is 10 stack meters of wood, thanks to which the creativity center will be warm.
