Kharkiv. Children dance to win

"Dance is the language in which the soul speaks." Through dance, children and adults have the opportunity to express their feelings, experience trauma and gain great satisfaction. That is why the dance club, in which children of different age groups are engaged - from the very young to teenagers, is especially popular among all the groups of the Center for Creativity for Children and Families "Otradne". Thanks to the professional qualities of the head of the group, 58 children attend it today. Unfortunately, in 2024 the fund faced a shortage of funds. Because of this, he is forced to look for funding to pay for the work of group leaders.

"Otradne" creative center has been operating in Kharkiv for more than 25 years. With the beginning of hostilities in Kharkiv region, the doors of the center were closed to visitors. Since January 2023, the center slowly began to work to the joy of children living in the city and forcibly displaced persons who came here for rescue and help.

Now the residents of Kharkiv are in a difficult situation due to the fact that kindergartens and schools are not working. Children are forced to spend most of the day at home, practicing remotely. Of course, children suffer without active leisure time, without communication with peers, without classes in sports clubs. Thanks to the "Otradne" center, they have the opportunity to meet these needs. The center hosts drawing, ceramics, dance, circus art, school preparation, hapkido, technical creativity, chess, etc. groups.

Every month we need 11,320 hryvnias so that Kharkiv boys and girls have the opportunity to dance to authentic Ukrainian songs and preserve their national identity. After all, today they dance only for the sake of victory. We ask each of you to support our project and tell your friends and acquaintances about it. After all, together we can do more than alone!
