Since the start of hostilities in Ukraine, a large part of the young population of the city of Kharkiv has been evacuated. Old women and elderly people, in the majority, stayed to live in their own houses. Every day they heard enemy shelling of the city and its consequences. Of course, this is a difficult challenge for an elderly person, his psychological state. In order to psychologically support the elderly who are the beneficiaries of the fund's projects, the project "Kharkiv. Psychological assistance to the elderly".
Thanks to the collected funds, we were able to pay for two months of work of a psychologist (for August-September 2022), who provided psychological services to 32 grandparents in need, and also paid for a part of the rent of a room where they can meet with a psychologist, provide self-help to each other and to try to live a normal life for them, regardless of the circumstances of the war.
Initially, the amount of the fee was UAH 7,424, but according to letter No. 2/21 dated July 21, 2022, the amount was increased to UAH 14,848.00.
