I want to hear and be heard

On November 25, 2020, the project "I want to hear and be heard" was posted on the UBB website dobro.ua, the purpose of which was to raise funds to pay for hearing aids for Sofia Makarenko (diagnosed with sensorineural hearing loss). The initial amount of the project was UAH 83,998. But when the collection was completed in March 2021, and the funds from the UBB ICF were transferred, when we purchased the devices, we were faced with the fact that they became more expensive. Therefore, they were forced to continue fundraising. According to Letter 2403/01 dated 24.03.2021, the purpose of the collection was increased and amounted to UAH 103,220. In May, the collection ended and we received an additional UAH 19,222, which was collected within the project. Since the beginning of the project, a long time has passed, and in children with hearing problems, it is constantly changing, so Sofia made a fresh diagnosis, which determined the current model of hearing aids. The devices were paid for on May 26, 2021, and on June 11, 2021, mother Anastasia Makarenko and her daughter took the hearing aids from the Aurora Center.
