We know Daniil Monogarov for many years. His family is an example of unity and love to each other. Danya is one of the twin brothers, born first. But unfortunately, he was falling behind his brother in physical development, and at the age of 7 months he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Since that time, the boy needs to continuously take physical rehabilitation sessions according to an individually selected program. The situation is greatly complicated by the fact that Daniil can count only on his mom and brother. No-one else can help him, because the father of the boys has died.

Specialists of the Ukrainian Center for Kinesiotherapy have prepared a special rehabilitation program for Danya, which helped him develop the spine and joints, and strengthen the muscles of upper and lower limbs.

There are no medications and injections to provide remedy for cerebral palsy, and only daily persistent sessions can make life easier, improve performance of muscles and relieve pain. And the most important task is to teach a person living with cerebral palsy to look after himself. Fortunately, thanks to past donations Daniil was able not to miss and not to interrupt his rehabilitation sessions. His doctor has noticed a significant reduction of contracture in Daniil after every rehabilitation course, which prevents limb deformities. When the boy’s condition is worsening, his legs are usually half-bended and almost impossible to straighten in a calm state, and when he walks, deformed condition of his legs causes him feel pain, fall down and sustain injuries. However, your timely assistance would allow him to continue undergoing rehabilitation and prevent deterioration of his condition.

Presently, we want to raise funds to pay for Danya’s rehabilitation program, which he will undergo from April to August 2022. It includes a treatment course and special massage sessions. All that would make his condition much easier, bring him the necessary freedom in moving around, and improve the quality of his life.
