A disease stole his childhood. 4
Sasha's family is one of those who fled from the horrors of war from the occupied territories. They moved from the Luhansk region to Kiev and now live in a children's hospital because they have no place to live. Sasha is already 7 years old, and all this time he has been fighting for the right to life. Even before the birth of his heart stopped, he was born without signs of life. More than 3 minutes, the doctors reanimated the baby. Sasha's heartbeat, but there was no breath, the boy fell into a coma.
14 days under a ventilator, brain hemorrhage, convulsions... but he survived. This was the beginning of Sasha’s life, each day of which is more like a struggle than a happy childhood. In the end, the boy was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, spastic tetraparesis, epilepsy and delayed psychomotor development.
For 7 years, a long and difficult path has already been passed through pain, fear, and tears and winning back our chance to be healthy. Behind Sasha, there are already many courses of complex treatment, and the results are encouraging! There is a positive dynamic in the development of the boy. But one cannot stop at what has been achieved, because rehabilitation must be carried out constantly. The family is financially exhausted and is no longer able to independently pay for the expensive treatment of the boy, so we help the family raise funds for treatment at the hospital.
Support Sasha and help him regain his childhood, which the disease has so mercilessly stolen!
