Club house "BARwinOK". December

The Clubhouse is a place where people with mental disorders participate in their own recovery process, working and communicating together in a safe, welcoming environment. Our Clubhouse for people with mental disorders, which we are creating based on the international standards of Clubhouse International (USA), is the first in Ukraine.

From the very beginning of its existence, ARC "Barwinok" was hatching the idea of ​​creating a Club House in Ukraine. And today the "light" version of such a Club House is already working: "Barwinok" rents 1 room on the territory of the Psychoneurological Dispensary N5 in Kiev. There "Barwinok" volunteers to conduct events for people with mental disorders 7 days a week:

•     Monday – free visit day and a support group for family and friends;
•     Tuesday and Thursday – education days, during which lectures, trainings and master classes are held;
•     Wednesday – business day, economic and financial literacy, recruiting;
•     Friday – live support group meeting;
•     Saturday – online support group for the regions of Ukraine;
•     Sunday – buddy day, cultural events, sports.

Clinical and medical psychologists, psychotherapists and psychiatrists, coaches, business consultants are actively involved in the activities of the Club House. This year "Barwinok" laid the foundation for the English Language Club.

The funds collected within the framework of this project will be used to pay rent for the premises and administer the work of the Club House for December 2021.
